1. How has your internship with Western Union supported your career growth?

This amazing internship with Western Union has supported my career growth immensely. The internship helped guide and shape what it takes to be a part of a high functioning organization. Critical thinking, collaboration, & time management are essential skills that I’ve learned throughout this internship. Furthermore, while networking with the professionals in my field, they helped me gain knowledge and wisdom about our career industry and what it entails to succeed in it.

2. What have you gained from your internship that is most valuable?

The most valuable thing I’ve gained is the connections I’ve made from Western Union. I believe that networking and establishing a meaningful connection within your industry is essential to have a successful one.

3. What advice would you give to the next group of interns at Western Union?

· There will be times you fall short of your given assignment, and that’s okay. Learn from that moment. Absorb the critique from your mentors, learn from it, and provide relevant solutions on the next assignment.

· Have Confidence! We’re all shy at first, know that you belong.

· Generate networking opportunities, and ask thoughtful relevant questions.
