Obtaining Cyber Defense Path (THM)

Finally Finished It!!

Just wanted to start off this blog off on a good note. I wanted to share that as of August 4th, I completed THM's Cyber Defense Path. During this training, many SOC analyst tools were learned. How to monitor potential threats using various methods of tools. Now this certification was geared towards Intermediate to Advanced practitioners. There were nights where I had to trouble shoot, and practically 'rage quit' from going too deep in the rabbit hole.

I had a LinkedIn connection ask me if they should get the premium membership on THM. I said absolutely. You might have to cancel another subscription (I canceled Amazon Video) but its definitely worth it to invest in yourself. There came many a time where my 'free' AttackTheBox time ran out on me, and I would have to start/restart where I left off in the lab. And to me, if I'm on a roll, I'd like to get it done as fast as I can.

Nevertheless, I finished it and it was a HUGE eye opener for me. I suggest if you want to see if this industry is good for you use Tryhackme's platform first to test out the waters.
